  - The aim of the centre is to help and educate young people and adults through their leisure time activities with the aim of improving their condition of life. -

as stated in the constitution on May 2006

At Sans Street Youth and Community Centre we have over 200 registered young members from Hendon and the surrounding areas. So the centre provides key facilities such as: a large sports hall, computer room with access to IT resources and the internet, pool table, climbing wall, sluch machine and other recreational resources.

As well as offering a range of girls, boys and mixed youth sessions we organise adult course. The project is also part of Hendon Youth Initiative which ensures it's members can share the benefits of other partner youth organisation such as Play work and Junior activities during the holidays.

 

 

The Centre is AALA registered,AALA, the Adeventure Activities Licensing Authority, is a government sponsored scheme that inspects safety management of centres and issues a license. Meaning the centre can provide outdoor adventure activities.

A small part of the Sans Street business is CLIMB, through this we provide outdoor courses and activities.

The Triple S project also runs at the centre which provides free classes for adults such as 'Crafty Cards' shown to the left, basic english and maths etc....

The E2E course has been launched for young people currently not employed.
